This division of A2Z Group started its operations in Sept 2006 with a contract for Rs 1.2 Cr from SEC Railway, Bilaspur apart from some contracts for mechanized cleaning of Platforms from Delhi Metro. In a short span of 1.5 years the division has got contracts for Rs 45 Cr. Apart from this the division expects to get further contracts for Rs 30 crores from the same zones where work is already in progress. This division specializes in following areas :

• Mechanized Cleaning of Railway Platforms and Yards spanning over several kilometers: We are proud to be associated with Delhi Metro in their aim to provide neat and clean environment to passengers. We are looking after mechanized cleaning of several stations of Delhi Metro and are also involved in cleaning yards for several zones of Railways.
• Mechanised Cleaning Of Enroute trains at several stations of Indian Railways: This is a highly specialized job where entire train full of passengers is required to be cleaned in a very short span of 15 to 20 minutes. A team consisting of about 35 trained janitors ( may call them commando janitors) armed with small but efficient high pressure water jets and vacuum cleaners enter the train and carry out the cleaning within a few minutes. The job involves high degree of commitment, punctuality, planning and synchronization of activities. We are proud to be the largest contractor for Railways in this scheme known as Clean Train Station Scheme with only one Competitor Eureka Forbes Limited.
• Mechanized Intensive Rake cleaning of Trains in Railway Yards: This again is a highly specialized job where the entire train is to be thoroughly washed and cleaned from inside as also outside in about 4 hours. We are doing such job at very important stations viz Bangalore, Chennai. Mysore, Nanded ( famous religious place for Sikhs )etc.
• On Board Housekeeping Services( OBHS) in Trains: This is very new concept introduced by Railways wherein skilled janitors travel on the train. Their job is to clean the train during the entire journey. The Hon’ble Minister Of Railways has recently announced in the Railway Budget that in 2008-09 this service will be introduced in all Express Trains through out the Railways. We are the first company to start such service and are proud to be the first and only company in India to be awarded the coveted ISO 9001: 2000 certification in this field.
• Technical Operations and Maintenance: We are doing Operation and maintenance of 70 kilometers long 2.5 ft water pipeline with 4 pump sets of 500 kva each for UK based group of industries under Sterlite Group. This work is being done in interior jungles at Lanjigarh in Orissa. We are successfully doing this job for the last more than a year and are giving guaranteed supply of 210 ml water per week ( approx 21000 liters per minute). Apart from this we are doing O&M of 132 Kva switch yard and 17.5 km long transmission line at the same place with a guarantee of 99% upkeep time. This is a highly skilled job requiring highest standards of safety as work is to be done on live 132 kva lines.
